August's Shades Club is three one-yard cuts in light, medium and dark: Heima Knit Wool, Quilter's Linen Stone and Dry Brush Blue Black. All three are in the shop in 1-yard and 3-yard cuts.

Knit Wool is a warm buttery cream with a soft knitted texture that works as a neutral for backgrounds, sashing and borders. Quilter's Linen Stone, a muted warm taupe, reads as a textured solid from a distance. Dry Brush Blue Black is a deep blender or background. This month's quilts are Hera, Madeline and Ronja.
