30lb Fill-A-Box - FAB Program

Stop paying shipping every time you buy fabric.
Fill-A-Box is a prepaid shipping program. Buy a 30lb box, fill it with your orders over time, and we ship the whole thing for one flat fee. Built for quilters who want to save on shipping.
How it works:
- Buy your 30lb Fill-A-Box on its own. Checkout with just the box in your cart. We need a one order to set up your personal box in our warehouse.
- After checkout, your box is created in our warehouse and labeled with your name. Shipping on this order is free.
- Place future orders anytime and select "Ship with My FAB Box" at checkout. We add eligible items to your box at no extra shipping cost.
- Keep filling. We hold everything in our warehouse until your box is ready to ship.
Your 30lb Fill-A-Box ships when:
- It reaches 30 lbs
- 60 days have passed since you reserved the box
- Itâs physically full
- You contact us and ask us to ship it
Important:
- Buy your Fill-A-Box on its own order, nothing else in the cart. Thatâs how our system creates your box and unlocks the âShip with My FAB Boxâ option on your future orders.
- Continental U.S. only (no Alaska or Hawaii).
- Larger items (XL Stripology rulers, cutting mats etc.), pre-order items, and subscriptions (Color Club, Bundle Club) donât qualify for FAB shipping. Theyâll ship separately at standard rates.
- You'll get emails from Airtable, not GE Designs. Airtable is the system we use to track your FAB Box. When we add items or ship your box, the update comes from there. It's expected, not spam.
đŠ What Is a FAB Box?
The FAB (Fill-A-Box) program lets you save on shipping by grouping multiple GE Designs orders into one flat-rate box.
We store your personal box in our warehouse and continue adding your eligible orders until itâs ready to ship â so you pay shipping once instead of on every order.
𧔠How You Fill Your Box
- Purchase your FAB Box by itself and select a shipping option (do not choose local pickup).
- After checkout, we create and label your personal FAB Box in our warehouse.
- Place new orders anytime and select âShip with My FAB Boxâ at checkout.
- We add each order to your box automatically.
đ When Your Box Ships
Your FAB Box ships automatically when any one of the following happens:
- It reaches the boxâs weight limit
- The box is physically full
- 60 days have passed since the box was created
- You contact us and request shipment
Youâre always in control â ship sooner if youâd like.
đ Size, Weight & Shipping Details
- Small FAB Box capacity: 20 or 30lbs depending on the box you choose
- Shipping region: Continental U.S. only (no Alaska or Hawaii)
Your box is packed carefully to maximize space while keeping everything safe.
đ« What Canât Go in a FAB Box
Some items are not eligible for the FAB program, including:
- Oversized items that donât fit safely in the box
(large rulers, cutting mats, large lighting, some irons, large battings, etc.) - Pre-order items
- Subscription programs (Bundle Club, Color Club)
If an order includes ineligible items, it will ship immediately with standard shipping.
